Setting Default Work Order Times

Mothernode allows you to set default work order schedule times. This includes the Start Time and an End Time fields, which are mandatory details required when creating a work order calendar entry.  By setting default work order times, new work order schedules that are created will automatically default to the Start Time and End Time set for your defaults. However, users can still override the default selections when creating a new work order calendar event.  In most cases, these default times are set to capture the actual business hours for which your company is open, making it easier to pick time slots in accordance with your business hours.

Only Administrators may make this adjustment. To set default work order times, follow the instructions below.

  1.  Login to Mothernode
  2.  Go to the Administration menu
  3.  Click Settings
  4.  In the General tab, locate the Default Work Order Times setting

5. Select the default Start Time and End Time drop-down fields
6. Click Save to finalize your changes
