Lead entry points

Mothernode accommodates a variety of different entry points for leads to enter the CRM. A lead entry point is defined as a way a new lead can be created in Mothernode CRM.

Adding a Record: Users can add a new lead in Mothernode CRM from the Leads and Opportunities Module, by clicking NEW in the listing screen or in a lead or opportunity record.

From Contacts: Users can create a new opportunity for existing contacts.

From Customers: Users can quickly create opportunities for existing customers. This process automatically populates the opportunity with all the corresponding customer and contact information.

Forwarding an Email: Mothernode users can forward emails to their Mothernode account that will automatically create a new lead record and store the body of the email in the description of the lead.

  • Chrome Extension users can click the forward email option, which will generate a new lead in Mothernode
  • Outlook Add-in gives users the ability to click to forward an email to Mothernode that will automatically create a new lead record.

Lead Capture Forms: New leads can automatically be created using Lead Capture forms that are placed on websites, landing pages, blogs, etc.

Importing Leads: Users can import  new leads from XLS files.

Outlook Add-in: New emails can added via the information pane in Mothernode’s Outlook add-in.

Via API: Users can create new Mothernode leads via third-party services using Mothernode’s API.
