Mothernode accommodates a variety of different entry points for leads to enter the CRM. A lead entry point is defined as a way a new lead can be created in Mothernode CRM.
Adding a Record: Users can add a new lead in Mothernode CRM from the Leads and Opportunities Module, by clicking NEW in the listing screen or in a lead or opportunity record.
From Contacts: Users can create a new opportunity for existing contacts.
From Customers: Users can quickly create opportunities for existing customers. This process automatically populates the opportunity with all the corresponding customer and contact information.
Forwarding an Email: Mothernode users can forward emails to their Mothernode account that will automatically create a new lead record and store the body of the email in the description of the lead.
- Chrome Extension users can click the forward email option, which will generate a new lead in Mothernode
- Outlook Add-in gives users the ability to click to forward an email to Mothernode that will automatically create a new lead record.
Lead Capture Forms: New leads can automatically be created using Lead Capture forms that are placed on websites, landing pages, blogs, etc.
Importing Leads: Users can import new leads from XLS files.
Outlook Add-in: New emails can added via the information pane in Mothernode’s Outlook add-in.
Via API: Users can create new Mothernode leads via third-party services using Mothernode’s API.
Handshake: Mothernode customers can connect to one another using Handshake, Mothernode’s internal lead share service that allows customers to pass leads from one Mothernode Account to another.
