Setting user accounts to automatically expire

Mothernode gives Administrators the option to automatically disable user accounts on a predetermined date. This feature is ideal when adding users who will only require term access such as interns, consultants or other third-parties who need access to a Mothernode account.

Setting an account to expire prevents administrators from forgetting to disable temporary access for short term users.

How to set accounts to expire

  1. Click the Administration Tab
  2. Click User Accounts
  3. Open the user account you want to limit access
  4. Select yes next to Account Expires
  5. Select the date you would like the account to automatically disable
  6. Click Save
