Add Marketing Tags Directly to Contact Records
Mothernode allows you to add Marketing Tags to your contacts so that you can classify them in order to create reports, build filters or create distribution lists for email campaigns and follow-up sequences. Using Marketing tags is an ideal way to organize your contacts and build lists.
There are multiple ways to add Marketing Tags to contacts, with the most direct method being through the contact record itself.
Click Edit in the contact record and select the Marketing & Social tab, add the Marketing Tags and click Save:
Multiple Marketing Tags may be applied to a single contact, providing flexibility when developing email campaign distribution lists.
As you enter a marketing tag, you will see a list of previously created tags that you can choose from, including an Edit option so you can manage marketing tag names and remove old tags as desired. Or, you can type a completely new tag and press the Enter key to create a new Marketing tag. Be sure to click Save to save newly added tags.
